Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Health Nurse in our employer-based occupational health clinic in Mason, MI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with medical and operational leadership to provide patient care and manage workers' compensation cases.
  • Facilitate Return to Work (RTW) programs and monitor treatment plans.
  • Work closely with outside medical providers to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in daily operations at the on-site clinic and provide excellent customer service to clients and employees.
  • Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor's Evidence-Based Medicine protocols.
  • Build and maintain internal team relationships and support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
  • Perform Medical Surveillance screening and testing, and document care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools.
Requirements
  • Valid Registered Nursing license and current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong computer and technology skills, including familiarity with EMR software.
  • Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive and outgoing personality, with a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant occupational health experience and familiarity with worksite clinic environments.
  • Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
