About Linda Manor Assisted Living
Linda Manor Assisted Living is a 10-year-old reputable assisted living facility seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $35.00-$40.00 per hour, based on experience. We offer competitive pay to attract the best talent in the industry.
Responsibilities
As an LPN at Linda Manor Assisted Living, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing basic nursing care, such as checking blood pressure, inserting catheters, and assisting patients with daily activities.
- Documenting patient information accurately and thoroughly, including nursing interventions, patient responses, needs, problems, capabilities, limitations, and progress toward goals.
- Communicating effectively with Registered Nurses (RNs), physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient needs.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Tutoring patients and their families on health-related topics and sharing relevant educational materials when necessary.
- Administering medications according to established policies and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records of medication administration and observing patient responses.
- Responding promptly and professionally in emergency situations.
- Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents as required.
- Completing administrative tasks, such as medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting, as necessary.
- Receiving and recording physician phone orders.
- Reporting accidents or incidents involving residents and following established protocols.
- Verifying resident identities before administering medications or treatments.
- Maintaining adequate supplies, equipment, and medication stock, reporting needs to the Director of Nursing.
- Ensuring accuracy in narcotic records and notifying the DON of discrepancies.
- Providing thorough, concise shift reports and communicating essential information to relevant personnel.
- Performing all job duties in accordance with safety and infection control policies and procedures.
Requirements
To be successful as an LPN at Linda Manor Assisted Living, you must have:
- A valid LPN license.
