Position Overview
The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to deliver onsite instruction in the Accounting and Finance disciplines. We are particularly interested in candidates who can teach the following course:
Principles of Macroeconomics (ECON 201): This course provides an introductory examination of macroeconomic principles. Students will engage with essential macroeconomic theories and their applications to real-world scenarios, covering topics such as economic growth, technological advancements, unemployment, inflation, and the influence of monetary and fiscal policies on economic performance.
Qualifications Required
- A terminal degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Relevant professional experience in Economics, Finance, or a related area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Management Accountant.
- Experience in teaching adult learners in online and higher education settings.
