Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clinical Assistant to join our team as a Nursing Unit Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure smooth patient care operations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their loved ones.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Iowa.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
