Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Levain Bakery in Georgetown. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of artisan breads and pastries, working closely with our Head Baker and the rest of the bakery team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a range of breads and pastries, including artisan breads, cakes, and muffins.
  • Collaborate with the bakery team to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and health regulations.
  • Problem-solve with the Head Baker and bakery management to address any issues related to quality, quantity, or ingredients.
  • Use a variety of kitchen tools and equipment, including stand mixers, convection ovens, and cutting tools.
Requirements
  • Prior baking experience, preferably in breads and cakes.
  • Food Safety Manager Certification.
  • Passion for baking and creating high-quality products.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced bakery environment.
  • Eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
