Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Enercon Services. As a Mechanical Engineer - Data Center Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing critical facilities and HVAC systems for our clients. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

* Design and implement critical facilities and HVAC systems for data centers and other critical facilities
* Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry codes and standards, safety culture, and design techniques
* Provide peer and technical reviews of engineering designs and documentation
* Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure designs are compatible and meet all disciplinary requirements
* Travel to sites to interface with client personnel and perform walk-downs of plant structures, systems, and components

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
* Minimum of 7 years of critical facilities and power design experience
* Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, pumping systems, piping systems, cooling towers, air handling systems, refrigerant systems, fan systems, and ductwork
* Proficient with Microsoft Suite and AutoCAD in an engineering setting
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to travel 10-15% of the time
