Job Title: Fitness Technician

Job Summary:
The Graham Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fitness Technician to join our team. As a Fitness Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the front desk area of the Wellness Center, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a positive experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls, route messages, and provide assistance to visitors and members.
• Sign up and process new members, update existing member files, and handle money transactions.
• Keep proper daily records of inventory and money transactions.
• Provide floor tours, orient members with equipment, and ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Assist clients with setting up equipment and provide exemplary customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with other personnel to achieve departmental objectives and maintain good employee relations.
• Solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written and oral form.
• Attend meetings as required and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or gym settings is a plus.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and member software applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently, flexibly, and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Sufficient hearing, vision, and dexterity to perform duties safely.
