We are currently seeking a skilled PRN Ultrasound Technician to join our esteemed Maternal Fetal Medicine team.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.

This role involves providing services at multiple locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Ultrasound Technician, you will:


Perform ultrasound imaging procedures under the guidance of a licensed practitioner, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results.

Provide essential healthcare services, utilizing ultrasound technology to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Conduct procedures and manage related tasks, generating images for review by licensed practitioners.

Uphold professional standards and medical ethics while delivering patient care and exercising critical thinking skills.

Essential Duties Include:

1. Assessing patient readiness for procedures and clearly explaining the process, duration, and post-procedure expectations.

2. Educating patients as necessary and obtaining informed consent for procedures while maintaining confidentiality.

3. Selecting appropriate equipment and setting technical parameters, ensuring all necessary supplies are prepared prior to procedures.


4. Gathering comprehensive patient histories and documenting relevant information to assist in image interpretation.

5. Performing quality assessments on obtained images and addressing any equipment concerns as needed.

6. Conducting routine quality tests on imaging equipment as required.

7. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.

8. Completing additional responsibilities within the scope of the role as assigned.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

1. A degree from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

2. Preferred experience of six to nine months in ultrasound imaging.

3. ARDMS board certification within six months of employment.

4. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, required upon hire.
