About This Role

The University of California San Francisco seeks an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join their team. This position plays a critical role in providing fiscal oversight and management, reporting, and analysis to department leadership, managers, financial units, faculty, and staff.

Fiscal Responsibilities

The Senior Finance Manager holds fiduciary responsibility for ensuring that financial activities adhere to University of California policies and external regulatory guidelines. This includes managing departmental operating funds and activities, as well as supervising two Financial Services Analysts who provide direct service to the department's finance operations.

Financial Planning and Management

The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Director of Finance to plan and execute short- and long-term strategic plans related to finance and operations. They will also establish and maintain internal controls and streamlined business processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $94,400 - $201,800 (Annual Rate). The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. The placement within the salary range depends on factors such as work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF.
