Job Title: Senior Aircraft Component Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Aircraft Component Technician to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the repair and overhaul of internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies, and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced technical tasks, including repair and overhaul of aircraft components, using advanced skills, procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior technicians, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to company standards.
  • Set up and operate test equipment to perform functional and operational tests of aircraft components.
  • Inspect detail parts to ensure conformity requirements are met.
  • Maintain and utilize required paperwork in accordance with FAA Repair Station requirements.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • A&P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferred.
  • 6 years of experience in sheetmetal and/or hydraulic overhaul, avionics/electrical component repair, or related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering documents, and other technical data.
  • Proficient in operation of all tools and equipment in the department.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with up to 25% travel required. The shift is weekend nights, and the position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
