Job Summary
The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a highly qualified candidate for an Associate Professor position in the tenure track. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the specific area of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include teaching graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and medical students.
- Clinical responsibilities may include seeing cognitive patients with a focus on those with Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias in outpatient clinics.
- Research or scholarship responsibilities may include basic, translational, or clinical research focused on neurodegenerative diseases.
Requirements
- Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
- For candidates with an M.D., Board Certification in Neurology is required.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong record of scholarly productivity and federal funding.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates with a strong track record of research and scholarship in the area of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias.
- Candidates with experience in teaching and mentoring graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and medical students.
