About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior UI Developer to join our dynamic team at Matlen Silver. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to innovative projects in a leading financial institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hands-On Development: Take full ownership of the UI development process, from conceptual design to implementation, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and scalable code. You will work extensively with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and React to create responsive, user-friendly web applications.
  • Independent Work: Demonstrate the ability to work independently, making key decisions and driving projects forward without constant supervision. You will be expected to take initiative, manage your workload effectively, and deliver solutions within established timelines.
  • Enterprise-Level Development: Apply your experience in enterprise environments, particularly within the financial sector, to develop robust and secure applications. Your knowledge of large-scale application development will be critical in creating interfaces that meet the rigorous standards of a leading financial institution like Matlen Silver.
  • Accessibility Compliance (ADA): Ensure that all user interfaces comply with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, creating accessible web applications that are usable by individuals with disabilities. Candidates with experience in ADA compliance will be given priority consideration.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, backend developers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration of the UI components with the overall application architecture. Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams will be essential for success.
Qualifications
  • 5+ Years of Experience: Proven experience in UI development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and React.
  • Enterprise Experience: Previous experience working in an enterprise environment is required, with a preference for those who have worked in the financial industry.
  • Accessibility Expertise: Strong understanding and experience with ADA compliance in web development is highly desirable. Candidates with a track record of developing ADA-compliant interfaces will be prioritized.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions independently.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring that all aspects of the UI are meticulously crafted and aligned with design specifications.
