Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on packaging equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or repair of packaging equipment and machinery.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic controls.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Experience with Husky Injection machines and Sidel and/or Krones machines.
- Knowledge of shop mathematics and measuring equipment.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
