Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on packaging equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or repair of packaging equipment and machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and equipment manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Husky Injection machines and Sidel and/or Krones machines.
  • Knowledge of shop mathematics and measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
