Salary Information

Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients. You will work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to protect, promote, and optimize health and ability, prevent illness and injury, alleviate suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocate in the care of individuals and families. Key responsibilities include demonstrating proficiency in assessment, treatment, and care for laboring moms and newborns, working effectively with colleagues to achieve positive patient and unit outcomes, and contributing to the practice of nursing through participation in Shared Governance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher. You must also be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice, and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license. Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support, and Neonate Resuscitate certifications are required within 30 days of employment start date.
