In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering advanced nursing techniques that prioritize patient comfort and safety.
  • Engaging in performance improvement initiatives to uphold high standards of care.
  • Preparing medical equipment and assisting physicians during patient assessments and procedures.
  • Mentoring and supervising nursing assistants and administrative staff to enhance patient care delivery.
  • Utilizing critical thinking to make informed nursing decisions based on patient evaluations.

Additionally, you will demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions. The role may require flexibility in working hours and the ability to adapt to various patient care settings as needed.


Qualifications:
  • Proven critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick and accurate response to changes in patient conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Preferred experience in telemetry nursing.
  • Clinical competence and basic computer proficiency.
  • Completion of critical care courses is preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program recognized by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN).

Licenses/Certifications Required:
  • Active Florida Registered Nurse License.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification.
  • Basic arrhythmia skills or prior critical care experience required.
