PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 3rd Shift Packaging (5 positions): Sunday - Thursday, 11:45 PM - 8:30 AM (shift times may vary); Friday work may be required.
  • Execute panning tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Accurately complete tracking documentation, adhering to SQF standards.
  • Carry out bagging of products promptly and correctly.
  • Monitor product tracking to prevent out-of-specification items.
  • Support the production line with panning, racking, and product movement.
  • Assist the packaging line with tracking, bagging, and labeling tasks.
  • Conduct pan dumping efficiently without damaging products.
  • Adhere to all training protocols provided by the company.
  • Comply with all safety and food safety policies and procedures set by the plant and corporate guidelines.
    • Immediately report safety incidents to supervisors or management.
    • Promptly report food safety issues to supervisors or management.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • Provide assistance to other departments as necessary.
  • Engage in preparation for plant audits and inspections.
  • Perform other assigned duties and projects as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Capability to push or pull up to 200 pounds using wheeled equipment.
  • Ability to perform tasks that involve standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and reaching.
  • Willingness to stand for the majority of the shift.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
  • Ability to work in high ambient temperatures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Experience:
    • Preferred six (6) months of experience in food manufacturing.
