At Portsmouth Regional Hospital, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and a supportive work environment for our nurses. As a RN OR First Assist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist surgeons during operations, providing critical support and ensuring optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide general nursing care before and after surgery
- Ensure the operating room is prepared with necessary supplies and equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients, teammates, and physicians to ensure continuity of care
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 90 days of employment
- Registered Nurse licensure and certification as a RN First Assistant
Portsmouth Regional Hospital is a 234-bed acute care facility serving the Seacoast region of Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire.
