Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning and delivering nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitative care. This includes assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing care delivered to patients/residents.


Key Responsibilities
  • Work within the guidelines established by the Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and sound nursing judgment.
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care delivered to patients/residents.
  • Deliver nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitative care.
  • Implement patient/resident plans of care and evaluate patient/resident responses.
  • Direct and supervise care provided by other nursing personnel.

Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of a basic education program in professional nursing.
  • A minimum of one year medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting or long-term care setting is preferred.
  • Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of practice.
