Job Title: Group Fitness Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Fitness Instructor to join our team at Life Time. As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for leading a variety of group fitness classes, including strength training, cardio, and flexibility exercises. You will work closely with our members to create a fun and engaging fitness experience that promotes physical activity and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead group fitness classes that cater to diverse fitness levels and interests
  • Provide personalized instruction and feedback to members to ensure they are using proper form and technique
  • Maintain a safe and clean studio environment, including setup and teardown of equipment and supplies
  • Promote Life Time's programs, products, and services to members and potential customers
  • Collaborate with other fitness professionals to develop and implement new class formats and programs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field preferred
  • 1+ years of experience as a group fitness instructor or personal trainer
  • CPR/AED certification required; first aid certification preferred
  • Group exercise certification from a recognized organization (e.g. ACE, NASM, AFAA)
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform exercises specific to assigned class
