Job Description

Fulton May Solutions is a Managed IT Services & Solutions Company (MSP) seeking a highly skilled technical professional to join our team. We are currently seeking a senior systems support engineer with the drive and determination to help us support our client base. We are looking for an individual who is a problem-solver and has a proven track record of working within a team environment to successfully address challenging network, server(s), and workstation issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, manage, and maintain servers, desktops, LAN, and cloud environments for our existing and new clients.
  • Troubleshoot user and system problems over the phone and with remote control technologies and in-person.
  • Analyze customer technical environments and serve as the primary technical contact.
  • Manage and run IT projects, both internal and client-facing.
  • Install and maintain network servers, operating systems, and other network equipment.
  • Develop and maintain technical and project documentation.
  • Travel to client offices in the Chicagoland area as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (a plus).
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and punctuality.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Relevant experience required in the IT industry.
  • Prior experience working for an MSP is a significant plus.
  • Microsoft Technologies.
  • Experience in Active Directory, Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, AZURE, and AWS environments is a plus.
  • PC and Server configuration and support experience.
  • Troubleshooting network environments and Wi-Fi configurations.
  • Firewall/UTM skills: Knowledge of Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, SonicWALL, etc...
  • A+, Network+, MCSE/MCSA, CSSA, CCNA are all beneficial certifications.
  • Experience with Veeam Backup Software.
  • Experience with ConnectWise or Autotask is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to multi-task with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Patience with people and the ability to help train end users.
