Orthopedic Nurse Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Nurse Specialist to join our team at Paris Regional Health, a leading healthcare provider in Texas.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled nurse with experience in orthopedic care. As an Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families on orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license and Basic Life Support certification.
  • PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • National specialty certification preferred.
