We're seeking a dedicated Perioperative Quality and Safety Coordinator to join our team at the University of Kentucky. As a key member of our OR Services leadership, you'll play a pivotal role in elevating our perioperative services and driving quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize quality and safety within perioperative services.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to reduce variability and enhance care delivery.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in safety and quality initiatives, providing leadership and guidance.
  • Monitor and track outcomes to ensure continuous improvement in patient safety standards.
What We're Looking For:
  • Education: BSN required; Master's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of RN experience in OR, PACU, or perioperative service lines, with strong knowledge and a passion for quality improvement and patient safety in those areas.
  • Certification: RN with a commitment to achieving Safety or Quality certification within the first year.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and physician engagement skills are a must.
