Join Our Team as a Neurology Nurse at Rochester Regional Health

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Neurology Nurse to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a Registered Nurse in Neurology, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

About the Role

As a Neurology Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with a range of neurological conditions, including headaches, migraines, epilepsy, and stroke. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care & Service: Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options.
  • Planning & Communication: Develop and document individualized care plans, communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management: Utilize our electronic health record system to document patient information, communicate with healthcare teams, and access patient data.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to patient confidentiality, HIPAA, and infection control.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with a current RN license in New York State.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferably in a neurology or critical care unit.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and RN license in New York State.
