About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients in our cardiovascular telemetry unit.
- You will be working as part of a close-knit team, delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive hospital environment.
- The ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years of recent experience (within the past 6 months) in cardiovascular telemetry, with a strong focus on interpreting EKGs and managing complex patient cases.
- You will be required to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, with opportunities for floating to similar or lower acuity units.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care in our 32-bed cardiovascular telemetry unit.
- Interpret EKGs independently, using centralized telemetry monitoring systems.
- Work collaboratively with Charge Nurses, Clinical Supervisors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Manage complex patient cases, including post-cath lab, post-vascular procedures, and day 2 Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) patients.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience (within the past 6 months) in cardiovascular telemetry.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Ability to interpret EKGs independently.
- Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48 hours prior to acceptance, with a maximum of 2 attempts.
Salary:
$120000 per annum, depending on experience.
