About the Job

PIH Health Whittier Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure: Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and hold a valid state license.
  • Job Details: This is a full-time position with a varied schedule, working 5 eight-hour shifts per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts can range from 7am to 7pm, 8am-7pm, 9am-7pm, or 10am-7pm, with the possibility of working overtime.
  • Weekend and Holiday Requirements: Weekends are required during holidays, as per the needs of the unit.
  • Patient Age Group: Adults and geriatrics.
Requirements
  • Certifications: ARRT T, ARRT, BLS, CSRT, and state license.
  • Required Skills: CBCT/kV/mV imaging, Electron Field, External Beam Therapy, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, and Stereotactic Radiosurgery.
Additional Details
  • Relocation Assistance: Must provide relocation assistance (RTO) with the submittal.
  • No RTO for First Two Weeks: No relocation assistance (RTO) is provided for the first two weeks of the assignment.
  • Government-Issued ID: A government-issued photo ID is required.
  • Emergency Contact Form: An emergency contact form must be completed prior to the start of the assignment.
  • Physical Examination: A physical examination is required within one year of the start date.
  • FDI and Education Verification: FDI is sent directly to the traveler the Friday prior to the start date, and education verification is required.
