We are seeking a talented Group Exercise Instructor to join our team at SYUFY GROUP in Meridian, ID.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have excellent teaching skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to motivate members to achieve their fitness objectives.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position that requires teaching complimentary group exercise classes to members and guests. The instructor will create a safe, effective, and fun learning environment, adhering to class formats and guidelines set by the Company.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach group exercise classes to members and guests
  • Motivate members to participate in group exercise programs
  • Represent the club's group exercise program in a professional and supportive manner
  • Promote participation in own classes and those of fellow instructors
  • Help promote other club programs, events, and services to class clientele

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Experience teaching multiple class formats (a plus)
  • Current certification as a Group Exercise Instructor from an approved organization and First Aid/CPR certification
  • Able to move or carry exercise equipment as necessary
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions

Compensation:

Our competitive compensation package includes a class rate of pay based on relevant experience, 401K with dollar-for-dollar match up to 4%, complimentary club membership, discounts on club products and services, and flexible scheduling.
