Seeking a Highly Motivated Pediatric Surgeon

Akron Children's Hospital is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and fostering a culture of innovation, education, and collaboration. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pediatric Surgeon to join our Division of Pediatric Surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert surgical care to pediatric patients, utilizing advanced minimally invasive surgery techniques.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to the growth of our programmatic offerings.
  • Teach and mentor rotating general surgery residents, fostering their growth in pediatric surgery.
  • Contribute to research and academic activities to elevate our division's academic profile.
Qualifications:
  • Board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Surgeon.
  • Early or mid-career candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • A strong interest in academic pursuits, including teaching and research.
  • Proficiency in advanced minimally invasive surgery techniques.
