Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Framing Artist to join our team at Michaels Arts and Crafts. As a Framing Artist, you will be responsible for creating custom framing solutions for our customers while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with customers while delivering sales and production results.
  • Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
  • Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
  • Provide friendly customer service and help customers shop and find what they are looking for.
Requirements:
  • Basic computer skills and measuring skills.
  • Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Retail experience.
  • Experience selling products and/or services to customers.
Work Environment:
  • Public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas.
  • Some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled.
  • Some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks.
Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
