Job Title: Safety Manager - Food Manufacturing

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Safety Manager to lead our client's safety program, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management within the food manufacturing industry and a passion for maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies.
  2. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
  3. Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, and other relevant safety regulations.
  4. Provide safety training and education to employees at all levels.
  5. Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  6. Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management within the food manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and other safety regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH) is a plus.
Compensation:

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum.
