Langan Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled GIS Intern to join its collaborative team in a dynamic environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in data reduction, analysis, and map creation using Esri's ArcGIS suite of products.

The successful candidate will assist with creating data products for various infrastructure planning initiatives, gain experience creating GIS visuals by interpreting incomplete data and information, and maintain project GIS databases to keep all project-specific data organized and cataloged.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with data reduction, analysis, and map creation
• Creating data products for infrastructure planning initiatives
• Gaining experience creating GIS visuals
• Maintaining project GIS databases

Qualifications include:

• Student actively pursuing a four-year or advanced degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
• Working knowledge of Esri ArcGIS software and extensions and Microsoft Office Suite applications
