Position Title: Senior Residential Home Supervisor (Metro Atlanta Area)

Department: Residential Services

Reporting To: Regional Director

Classification: Exempt

Role Summary: Oversee daily operations of residential facilities in the absence of a Senior Community Living Manager. Act as a floater when no specific coverage is required.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with individuals with disabilities or in a related field; supervisory experience of at least 1 year is preferred. Equivalent experience may be accepted with approval.

Licenses and Certifications: Valid GA Driver's License and vehicle insurance; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) is required.

Supervisory Duties: Manage in-home direct care staff across assigned residences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training and Program Management: Ensure person-centered activities align with individual interests and goals.
  2. Report emergencies promptly and complete incident documentation within 24 hours.
  3. Coordinate transportation and supervision for individuals as per their program needs.
  4. Maintain accurate records of daily activities and individual needs in the designated system.
  5. Provide training on appropriate daily attire for individuals to ensure comfort.
  6. Ensure vehicle maintenance is performed as necessary.
  7. Attend annual Individual Support Plan meetings for each individual.
  8. Oversee staffing for homes, including reporting and scheduling.
  9. Act as a liaison between staff and the Consumer Support team.
  10. Participate in on-call rotation as required.

Health and Safety Oversight:

  1. Conduct inspections to ensure homes meet safety standards.
  2. Address deficiencies or report them to the supervisor.
  3. Coordinate and document evacuation drills.
  4. Follow emergency protocols for various situations.
  5. Notify the supervisor of medical emergencies as per policy.

Housekeeping Duties:

  1. Ensure daily laundry is managed appropriately.
  2. Maintain nutritionally sound menus and ensure compliance with posting regulations.
  3. Purchase groceries weekly in accordance with approved menus.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.
  2. Maintain confidentiality and uphold clients' rights.
  3. Keep accurate financial records for individuals and the household.

Record Keeping:

  1. Maintain all necessary documentation to meet regulatory standards.
  2. Ensure daily logs are complete and accurate.

Physical Health Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise medication self-administration as per training.
  2. Maintain secure storage for medications.

Other Duties:

  1. Adhere to all agency policies and procedures.
  2. Foster positive relationships with individuals, families, and community members.
