About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook and Dietary Aide to join our team at Autumnwood of McBain. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious, nourishing meals that meet the daily nutritional and special dietary needs of our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals that meet the menu cycles developed by registered dietitians
  • Supervise culinary staff with regard to food storage, food preparation, tray assembly, and cleaning
  • Use food supplies and equipment in an efficient and economic manner to prevent waste
  • Prepare and maintain food alternatives to accommodate guest choices and refusals of meals served
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of experience as a cook or dietary aide in an institutional food service setting preferred
