TotalMed Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel Nurse RN in the Progressive Care Unit. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Kansas.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
