Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist - Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Parkview Care Center.

About the Role:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders, ensuring they receive high-quality care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, clients, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services in medical records, adhering to established medical practices and Company policies.
  • Conduct in-services and training sessions for patients, clients, and team members on restorative techniques.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
  • Model a positive and professional image, promoting teamwork and cooperation among colleagues.
  • Ensure all residents receive fair, kind, and respectful treatment, upholding their rights at all times.
  • Respect and protect residents' personal and property rights during duties, knocking before entering rooms when necessary.
  • Supervise Therapist Assistants and therapy students in direct patient care, following state practice acts and reimbursement regulations.
  • Screen patients based on identified needs, determining travel or float assignments as required by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with a valid state license or eligibility to obtain license in the state where services are provided.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to represent the Company in an ethical and professional manner, maintaining accountability and inspiring trust and respect.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a sign-on bonus of $4,000.
