ABOUT FOOD & BEVERAGE

The Food & Beverage team is essential in ensuring our guests enjoy a fresh, full, and safe shopping experience at all times. They are specialists in operations, processes, and efficiency, overseeing all aspects of food services, including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, and presentation.

As a Food & Beverage Expert, you will gain:

• Understanding of guest service principles and experience in fostering a guest-first culture.
• Ability to advise guests on purchasing decisions and storage recommendations.
• Experience in food business fundamentals, including sales trends and inventory management.
• Knowledge of food quality, safety standards, and seasonal trends.

• Deliver an outstanding guest experience by ensuring a fresh and full shopping environment.
• Maintain and execute Food & Beverage standards consistently.
• Understand how operational practices affect profitability and inventory.
• Carry out Food & Beverage processes, including stocking, cleaning, and data accuracy.
• Manage fast-moving inventory in response to seasonal demands.
• Adhere to all food safety protocols.
• Utilize sampling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance sales.
• Collaborate with distributors to maintain product displays and backroom organization.
• Identify and manage damaged or expired items appropriately.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with all guests.
• Respond to guest needs through attentive observation and interaction.
• Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding store products and services.
• Ensure compliance with all beverage laws relevant to the business.
• Handle environmental safety issues with care.
• Use personal protective equipment properly and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Work safely and responsibly to protect yourself and others.
• Support guest services, including cashier duties and order pick-up.
• Perform other duties as needed based on business requirements.

• Must be at least 18 years old (Bakery Only).
• Previous experience in food or grocery is preferred but not mandatory.

• Quick problem-solving skills for guest inquiries.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow complex processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Accurate cash handling as needed.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Efficiently handle and move merchandise, including lifting up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to work in varying temperature environments.
• Remain mobile throughout the duration of your shift.
