About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at HCA Florida Broward Orthopedics. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our physicians.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and gathering medical history.
  • Prepare exam rooms with necessary equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy as needed.
  • Support physicians during minor surgeries and physicals.
  • Answer phone calls and screen referrals to ensure timely communication.

What We Look For

  • Degree from an accredited Medical Assisting program or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Active and unrevoked certification in Medical Assisting (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA) is highly preferred.
