Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead RDK Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the delivery and architecture of device engineering for STB, SMART TV, and OTT devices. They will also be responsible for specific initiatives related to RDKVideo middleware for media graphic connectivity, functional use cases, and integration of backend for UI/UX, content protection, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery and architecture of device engineering for STB, SMART TV, and OTT devices.
  • Develop and implement RDKVideo middleware for media graphic connectivity, functional use cases, and integration of backend for UI/UX, content protection, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in system profiling, CPU, GPU, NPU, TPU, and memory.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in RDK development.
  • Excellent knowledge of C and C++ programming in multitasking embedded environments.
  • Experience with Linux application development and POSIX standards.
  • Deep understanding of low-level video software stack.
  • Familiarity with shell scripts, Jira, Confluence, Git, Gerrit, and Yocto.
  • Strong communication and team working skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand and translate product requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of Set Top Box software stack.
  • Strong experience on RDK video stack.
  • Familiarity with emerging trends in system profiling, CPU, GPU, NPU, TPU, and memory.
  • Profiling and performance optimizations.
  • Native software development experience on Embedded Linux platforms.
