Job Title: Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Albany Medical Center.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting physical examinations, collecting clinical data, and ordering medical laboratory tests. They will also be responsible for diagnosing medical conditions, administering medications, and performing minor surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments and complete physical examinations
  • Collect clinical data, including vital signs and medical history
  • Order and interpret medical laboratory test results
  • Diagnose medical conditions and develop treatment plans
  • Administer medications and perform minor surgery
  • Provide patient education and counseling
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
