Onsite Women's Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Per Diem Mammography Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of office environments, providing high-quality mammography services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures using the latest 3D tomosynthesis digital mammography equipment.
  • Prepare patients for the mammographic procedure, explaining the process to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
  • Move mammographic equipment to specific positions and adjust controls to set exposure factors based on knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques by using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills.
  • Follow prescribed safety standards in operating all required equipment.
  • Examine digital images for image quality and ensure equipment is in proper working order at all times.
  • Perform all required QA testing required to comply with MQSA, ACR and State requirements/regulations.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times and process routine paperwork and all required data entry.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in mammography.
  • ARRT certification.
  • Up-to-date on all CME credits.
  • Patient-centric, compassionate, and computer-savvy.
  • Flexible with the ability to multi-task and willing to cover on a moment's notice.
