About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Lead to join our team at KennMar Construction. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading project teams to ensure coordination of all site construction activities, including safety and quality items, creating and maintaining schedules, and assisting with subcontractor coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead project teams to ensure successful project execution, on schedule, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
  • Schedule Management: Create and maintain project schedules, including coordinating and driving the 4-Week Look Ahead schedule with subs/vendors.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Assist with subcontractor coordination, including procurement, administration, and quality control.
  • Cost Management: Manage cost management tasks, including change orders, forecasting costs, monthly projections, subcontractor and owner billings.
  • Quality Control: Assist with management and administration of quality control, including timely QC inspections and documentation.
  • Field Operations: Support field operations, including site construction activities, safety, cost, and quality controls, scheduling, and installation means and methods.
  • Communication: Foster collaboration and transparency with our teams, trade partners, designers, consultants, and clients.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably light-commercial, with field-specific management duties.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and minimum 10-hr OSHA certification preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to read, interpret, question, and/or execute project plans, specifications, Addenda/Bulletins, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, meeting agenda/minutes, and scopes of work.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience in Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM Collaborate, Building Connected-Pro, Asta Powerproject, and Microsoft Products preferred.
What We Offer

As a salaried employee, this position will enjoy benefits earned after 90 days of service, including 3 weeks PTO, medical, dental, vision, and 4% company match of 401(k). Salary compensation will include an allowance for vehicle and phone expenses, with vehicle gas for project travel reimbursable.
