Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiologist with expertise in cardiac imaging to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our Cardiology Section, you will participate in the general cardiology service with a focus on echocardiography, ambulatory cardiology, and inpatient care.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the general cardiology service with a focus on echocardiography, ambulatory cardiology, and inpatient care.
  • Teach residents and cardiovascular disease fellows in both outpatient and inpatient venues.
  • Develop clinical research and/or quality improvement programs within the Section.
  • Opportunities for leadership roles and academic appointment as Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor of Medicine.
Requirements
  • Board Certification in Advanced Echocardiography Training (Level III Training), Cardiovascular Disease, and Cardiac Imaging (e.g., CT).
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
