Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Prevea Clinic. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient/family health concerns through telephone triage and consultation
  • Actively seek information to understand patient circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs
  • Facilitate caller's access to appropriate level of care by assessing needs and offering clinical options using medical judgment within scope of licensure
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct telephone calls back to patients requiring follow-up care or provide test results
  • Provide health counseling and education to patients and their families about their healthcare and any follow-up instructions
  • Direct patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining medical information, performing comprehensive initial patient assessment, and maintaining patient charts/records
  • Assist the Physician or Advanced Practice Provider with procedures, notes their instructions/orders, and makes necessary arrangements to ensure they are carried out
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited and approved Nursing program
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse license with the state of WI
  • CPR/BLS Certification-Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from an approved program
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong patient assessment skills in person and on the phone in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to administer immunizations and medications
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment
