At Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director Respiratory Therapy to lead our Respiratory Therapy and Neuro-diagnostic Services departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direction and guidance to the daily operations of both Respiratory Therapy and Neuro-diagnostic Services.
- Ensure accurate time clock management for all direct reports in accordance with fiscal leadership guidance.
- Collaborate with departmental managers, physicians, and administration to plan and implement strategies for short-term and long-term growth and development of Respiratory Services and Neuro-diagnostics.
- Perform all tasks required of staff-level Respiratory Therapists, including pulmonary functions.
- Communicate with direct reports on an ongoing basis regarding the status of achievement of organizational and unit-based goals.
- Ensure adequate equipment and materials are maintained for proper functioning of the department.
- Accountable for all phases of staff development, including recruitment, orientation, retention, supervision, competency, and professional growth.
- Participate in the review and revision of policies and procedures.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies.
- 2 years of healthcare management experience with 5 years of experience in a clinical position in Respiratory Therapy.
- Preferred: 5 years of healthcare management experience with experience in Respiratory Therapy.
