We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at Wayne County Government. The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $65,000 - $85,000 based on industry standards and location.

About the Job:

  • The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing wood structures and fixtures.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently.
  • The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a valid carpenter's journeyman license.

Responsibilities:

  1. Erect buildings, bridges, and other structures.
  2. Install and repair wood stairways, window and door frames, and hardwood floors.
  3. Maintain and repair roofs and siding.
