Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Therapia Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse to join our team. As a CVICU RN, you will work closely with doctors and heart specialists to control patients' blood pressure and prevent heart failure.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and Implement Care Plan: Assess a patient's condition and implement a care plan while observing and recording patients' vital signs.
- Medication Administration and Equipment Operation: Administer medication and operate cardiovascular equipment like oxygenation machines and balloon pumps.
- Respond to Life-Threatening Situations: CVICU RNs respond to life-threatening situations and provide education and support to families and patients while acting as a liaison between the doctors and the patients.
