Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Colorist to join our team at Madison Reed Hair Color Bar. As a Colorist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hair color services to our clients, providing personalized consultations, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultations and Services: Provide expert consultations and deliver high-quality hair color services, including shampooing and conditioning, styling, and chemical services.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure a positive and personalized experience for each client, addressing their needs and preferences.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and drive revenue growth through additional services, sales of memberships, and home hair care products.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a clean and organized salon environment, adhere to company protocols, and support the training and development of junior team members.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks, with occasional sitting, kneeling, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
Requirements
  • Cosmetology License: Active cosmetology license in the state where you are applying.
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon environment.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Effective communication, strong problem-solving, and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems.
