Fleet Maintenance Clerk Job Description

The Fleet Maintenance Clerk is a vital role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet management systems. This individual will work closely with our maintenance team to process and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and other related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, verify, and enter information into computer systems
  • Complete office processes, including filing, handling mail, and directing telephone calls
  • Compile and maintain local paperwork, including reports, vehicle information, and company documents
  • Perform basic receivable processes, including the generation or submission of purchase orders/invoices
  • Perform other office duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in an office setting, preferably in a maintenance or fleet-related role
  • Previous experience using computers is a plus

Skills:

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and adapt to changes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
