Job Summary:

The Radiography Technologist Extern will work under the supervision of a Certified Radiography Technologist to perform basic imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed, or neuro chair to designated sites as requested.
  • Assist in preparing equipment and supplies.
  • Greet patients, verify prescriptions, providers, and schedule patients as needed; communicate with departments to facilitate efficient care.
  • Assist in patient positioning.
  • Assist in reviewing history and physician's orders.
  • Inform patients regarding procedures and exams.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • BLS American Heart RQI E-Card (BLS AHA-RQI ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE)
