Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled High-Voltage Service Technician to join our team at Pieper Houston Electric. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and repair, with a focus on high-voltage systems.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires the incumbent to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of high-voltage electrical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing high-voltage electrical systems, including transformers and circuit breakers;
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating high-voltage electrical components;
  • Documenting actions and testing results for each job or situation;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure that all high-voltage electrical systems are functioning properly;
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication skills.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial electrical maintenance and repair, with a focus on high-voltage systems;
  • A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record;
  • A Journeyman Electrician license and/or Master Electrician license (depending on location);
  • The ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DMV check;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • The ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits

Pieper Houston Electric offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings, and employee stock purchase plan. The estimated salary for this role is approximately $85,000 per year.
