Position Overview: Commercial HVAC Installer

Location: Columbus, OH

Work Schedule: 4/10's, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Traditional 5/8 hours schedule is also available.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install heating, air conditioning, and ductwork systems in accordance with company standards
  • Work on commercial new construction projects
  • Install ductwork systems, gas piping, and refrigerant piping
  • Perform brazing and soldering tasks
  • Fabricate transitions as needed
  • Complete other assigned duties

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial HVAC installation or a combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in gas piping installation
  • Skilled in refrigeration piping installation
  • Expertise in HVAC functional design and ductwork installation
  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication for on-site transitions
  • Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • General knowledge of HVAC low voltage systems
  • Possess EPA Universal Certification or be willing to obtain it upon employment
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
